Terms of Service
Last updated September 19, 2026
These terms cover your use of Sooma (sooma.dev): the dashboard, the REST API at /v1 and the MCP server at /mcp. By creating a workspace you agree to them. Questions: hello@sooma.dev.
What Sooma is
Sooma is a router. You or your AI agent pick a tool from our catalog, we call the third-party provider behind it with our credentials, return the result to you, and charge your prepaid balance. The data comes from the providers, not from us, and we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current.
Your workspace and keys
API keys are the only credential for a workspace. Anyone holding a key can spend its balance, so keep keys secret and delete any that leak. You are responsible for everything done with your keys, including calls made by agents you connect. One workspace per person or company unless we agree otherwise.
Balance, pricing and charges
Each tool lists its price before you run it. A call must be covered by your balance before it starts. You are charged only when the provider answers successfully; provider errors and Sooma failures cost nothing. A successful response that happens to be empty is still charged, because we still pay for it. Prices can change; the price shown at the time of a run is the price of that run. Budgets you set in the dashboard are enforced before a call starts.
Card top-ups are processed by Stripe. A 7% deposit fee is added on top of the credit you buy, and the minimum top-up is $25. Free signup credit is promotional, has no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
Refunds
If you ask within 30 days of a top-up, we will refund the unused part of the credit you purchased to the original payment method. The deposit fee and credit already spent are not refundable. If a run was charged in error, write to us and we will credit it back. Balances are prepaid service credit, not a deposit account, and earn no interest.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sooma to break the law, to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, to harass or stalk anyone, to build profiles of people for purposes the law forbids (for example decisions about credit, employment, insurance or housing), to collect data about children, or to get around a provider's own restrictions. Tools that return personal or business contact data must be used in line with the privacy and marketing laws that apply to you (such as GDPR, CCPA and CAN-SPAM); you are the one responsible for having a lawful basis. Do not resell raw access to Sooma, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking first, or create multiple workspaces to collect free credit.
Providers have their own terms, and your use of a tool is also subject to the terms of the provider behind it. We may remove a tool, limit your rate, or suspend a workspace that breaks these rules or puts a provider account at risk. If we close a workspace for a reason other than abuse, we refund its unused purchased credit.
Outputs and retention
We store each run's input and output so you can fetch it again through the API and see it in the dashboard. Files produced by a run (audio, images) are served through links that expire after 7 days. Do not treat Sooma as permanent storage.
Availability and liability
Sooma is an early product, provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Providers go down, change their APIs and change their prices, and tools may break or disappear as a result. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Sooma in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including anything an agent did with the results.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material we will email the address on your workspace before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sooma after that means you accept the new terms.
